MANDANCE PROJECT
OPENING NIGHT GALA

Ballet Tech launched its 2009 spring season with a special Opening Night Gala.

The celebration began with a cocktail reception at 6:00 pm at Ballet Tech's studios at 890 Broadway. As part of the festivities, the School held an open class for those who wished to glimpse behind the scenes. The performance followed at 8:00 pm at the Joyce Theater. (Transportation from 890 Broadway to the Joyce Theater was provided.)

Among the highlights of this benefit performance were the world premieres of Radiance, The Spaghetti Ballet, and Dust. Additionally, there was a 12-minute demonstration which featured 88 Ballet Tech School students in grades 4-8.

All proceeds from the Opening Night Gala benefit the tuition-free Ballet Tech School.
